School starts and I have no life...again.

I can't believe it has been a whole month since I have updated anything. A lot has happened since I last updated.

School has started and I am a little overwhelmed by the scheduled overlapping in classes. Since I have only one more semester to go all the harder classes are up and coming. SJSU has had some budget cuts and raised tuition twice this last semester. I am disappointed in how they are handling this tough time, instead of trying to squeeze as many students into one classroom they are making it harder for students to add classes after they have met their quota. It is a bummer because the drop rate is so high and their is so many empty seats in classrooms. The teachers have mandatory furlough days and are not allowed to contact or do any work whatsoever on their unpaid days off. There is supposed to be a student protest next Tuesday.

Whenever I go to school all I think about is deadlines and homework. I am glad I have my weekends off to dedicate my time in focusing on completing them, but I have no life. I am hoping this semester will go by fast so I can hurry and get my BS. I want to maintain my 4.0 average like last semester, but I don't know if my schedule will permit it.

Joel is starting school and he is taking 11.5 units this semester. He is taking French, History of East Asia, and Magic Witchcraft & Religion. He is trying to get his AA. He likes his French teacher, but wishes he would of taken Spanish. I hope he does well in all of his classes.
