October is here and winter is near...

Holy toledo is time passing by so fast. I am being horrible at updating my blog lately. The weather here is changing, very humid. Joel just got sick today and I have a busy weekend ahead of me (or the rest of the month for that matter).

I am going to be doing face painting at Gracie's birthday party tomorrow. Gracie and Andrew belong to one of the attorney's that works with me whom I babysit for on occasion. Laura asked me to lend a helping hand and I accepted. There is a first time for everything. I will post pictures of my work hopefully tomorrow.

This week has been challenging for me at work. I have had the most bazaar customers come through the office (and I don't think there is a full moon). I am glad I love my job and enjoy helping those who are sane and truly are appreciative of our office. I am glad this weekend has arrived.

I just got back from hanging out with my co-workers at Aaron's home. It was an official going way party for Aaron. She left us a week ago and I miss her already. She is a survivor of cancer, a mom, friend, wife, brownie mom - everything you want to be acquainted with she is it. I kitty sat for her while she went away: Bob and Isabella (two girls). We had a blast at her house. Her backyard is perfect for partys. Her husband, Dana, works for Microsoft as an attorney at the Mountain View campus and they have 2 beautiful and talented children. We had lots of food and fun catching up with one another. Two previous alumni joined us from Santa Cruz (Sasha and Christine) and it was good to catch up and be together once again.

On Sunday, I am also going to be trying out a new church in Mountain View. I am excited about it and hope it is not a disappointment. I don't want a yoga/rock star kind of atmosphere. I want to be able to be moved by the sermons. I am going to keep an open heart and hope it gets filled with only good things.

Afterwards, I have to attend my little cousin's dedication to the Lord and have a family get together afterwards. I am not too fond of the latter, but I will also try to keep an open-mind about why I am actually attending.

I hope I can squeeze in homework assignments this weekend.

I need to post pictures soon.
