My mom and Josh happen to share the same birthday. I always have to make sure I coordinate properly so that way I don't miss one of their celebrations.
This year, Josh had brunch at his parent's home and afterwards we watched Clash of the Titans at Mercado. We had gotten to Mercado very early so the boys went to MicroCenter and Sarah and I went to Starbucks. We didn't drink any coffee we just used their warmth and a table. While Sarah was writing in a card for the birthday boy, I asked her if she wanted to be one of my bridesmaids. She said "OK!".
I have known Sarah for the last 5 years. She is probably one of the sweetest people you'll meet, but don't be fooled because she has a dark side too. (Sorry Sarah!) She and Josh had dated for the last 5 years, it took about 4 years for her to be fully accepted by the siblings and I. Don't know why, we just take that long, but it was so worth it. She goes to San Jose State University and she pays her own way (well most of it), and she gets good grades like me. We are both to get our Dean's Honor Award this April. I figured since she has been in my life and we have a good relationship she would be a perfect candidate to be in my wedding. Plus I know I could count on her if need anything. We are both creative so we would work together perfectly.
