Today, I went shopping with my Best Friend Amber and her brother's girlfriend of four months, Sarah. She waited to the last minute to buy her dress for her B.J. & Aja's wedding (her older brother). They are going to be having a really chill wedding and Amber is their all-in-one wedding party. Yes, she is the flower girl, ring bearer, Maid-of-Honor, Best man, and official bride's dress fixer. They are going to get hitched in Tahoe, May 1st (yes, this next weekend).
Amber is probably the pickiest female in the world. Lucky for her she has a best friend who knows her style and can stand her short fuses of frustration. The style of dresses currently consists of really short dresses that are sleeveless (halter tops or spaghetti strapped), everything Amber cannot and will not wear. After many stores with many failed dresses at Valley Fair, we ended up finding a dress at Macy's. The dress is blue and is very long to the floor, it was a couple of sizes to big, but she has a neighbor who is a seamstress. I am so happy we found a dress or else Amber would have had been going to the wedding in sweats.
Now I am fortunate enough to end the night with having to do a PowerPoint presentation on human trafficking that is supposed to be due tomorrow. I am so not looking forward to having to talk for 15 minutes straight...oh well.
