Yesterday, I called in sick from work because I was exhausted from Sunday. Joel and I helped gather all of Madison's belongings in her and Marcus' room. It definitely was not easy not to think about Madison when we are putting her baby clothes in boxes. We put everything that was pink in boxes to take to Tonya's home for storage. It is not healthy for someone who just lost a loved one to come home to memories and pictures and to have to pack their belongings up for storage.
Anyhow, we also helped organize and unpack the baby room as well as tidy up Jorel and Kayci's room. We cleaned from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is now a lot more organized and cleaned.
I am not looking forward for this Friday, but Madison needs to be put down to rest.
Remembrance
Remembrance is a golden chain
Death tries to break,
but all in vain.
To have, to love, and then to part
Is the greatest sorrow of one's heart.
The years may wipe out many things
But some they wipe out never.
Like memories of those happy times
When we were all together.
