TIRES

"BOY HOWDY! I never knew how expensive tires could be until I got my first flat.

Friday, 03/21/08, I got a post-it note on my car window, saying my back right tire is low and to get air ASAP.

I went to the gas station down the street and it would not inflate. I heard a noise like a hissing sound, so I knew there must have been a leak somewhere on the tire.

I thought to myself that I would drive to work and get a tire fixed after work.

WRONG!!!

I got onto 280 and my car made a weird jerking up and down and I knew it was a flat.

I, amazingly, got to work without messing up the rim and on time. Joel was so mad that I kept driving with it when I called him a about it. I had to call AAA towing and they put my spare on.

When I tried to look for a tire, they were no less than $200 bucks. I didn't know how good the tires were that came with the car.

I ended up taking the deputies and Josh's advice and got a tire ($208) from American Tires, on Saturday, (which I dragged Caleb along) on El Camino, and got it replaced.

Now, I need to replace 1 more so the balance is better or the rest of the 3 tires.

NOTE: if you have a bolt or screw in tire, dont get walmart to fix it, go where they only deal with cars. (ie, costco, jiffy lube, pep boys)
