Uvas Canyon County Park

On 03/09/2008, we (Joel, Caleb, Jorel, and I) went to Uvas Canyon County Park to hike. I never knew this place exsisted until I did research on all my County parks.
I really want to see all of Santa Clara County's parks, and eventually broaden my borders.

Our original plan was to head out by 8:00 AM, Sunday, but we had to do some important shopping for Caleb. On our way to this park we went through a Swedish hiding place. It was real creepy because none of us could see a single living creature.

We arrived around noonish and I wasnt really thrilled that the boys totally changed MY plans, but I got over REAL soon. The trail we hiked was beautiful. There was waterfalls and little streams and the trees were gigantic and shaped so differently. We ate by a mountain of rocks and hiked through the stream to get to whichever trail we could find.

Jorel and Caleb went a different route and ended up going through some campgrounds and were first to the car. Joel and I stayed on the stream until we could find Jorel and Caleb or a path to GET to the car. We ended up stopping and snacking on my lunch I did not eat. We finally made it to the car and drove home. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Next Sunday, we will be going to another fun park...stay tuned
