We went hiking today. It was a gorgeous day to do a hike.I originally had planned on going to Hellyer County Park, but apparently it is right by the freeway. We wanted to be outside and away from the city life, so we headed down to good old Henry Coe in Morgan Hill. Joel and I have been here before and found it to be a very delightful scenic route. Caleb and Jared came along with us and were lucky that they were not disappointed.
The drive up to Coe was a 10 mile curvy road, which triggered my car sickness but ended up being fine once out of Jared's truck. We took the Corral trail and I got to take some great shots of some trees and scenic views of the valley. It was about a moderate 4.7 mile hike and took us about 2 hours to do in total.
Afterwards, we went back to my place only to end up going to see the Penn vs. Pierre fight at The Brit in downtown San Jose with Jared. Penn lost badly to Pierre, Pierre wouldn't stop grounding Penn so he did deserved to to win. We met up with Sal, Michael and Natalie Evans and Kayla. I enjoyed The Brit very much, way better when we first started off at Coaches in Campbell.
Now both Joel and I are tired from having such an eventful day. Tomorrow Joel's parents are suppose to come over to watch the Superbowl. I hope I have enough energy to get some reading in for all of my classes.
Today was a great day!
