Thoughts before the movie:We already know it was a failed attempt to assassinate Hitler.
Thoughts going into movie:We are late, why didn't I get a pro-rated amount for my ticket.
Thoughts while watching movie:When is all the crazy Nazi action going to happen.
Were Nazi's human after all?
Was Hitler's picture mandated by Nazi law to be posted in every single room?
Was Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg's eye really made into glass or did he always wear the patch? and why did he not keep his patch on all the time?
Thoughts after movie:I need to read up on the true facts regarding Hitler's attempted assassinations.
I wonder what happened to Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg's sons and how they feel about Valkyrie today.
It was too short of a movie.
My overall Ratings (1-10, 10 being the highest)"8" - short, stuck to historical facts and didn't exploit Hitler, not overdone with special fxs but not super creative with what they could of done.

After the movie
We ate In and Out. In the parking lot going back to our cars, we noticed all the "4-9's" (Not "5-0's", but rent-a-cops) huddled by a car. When they dispersed, we noticed that a car had been broken into. The window had been smashed into and the trunk opened, with stuff spilled out into the floor. We, of course, wanted to see the owner's reaction, so we hung out and talked about poop, pregnancy, medical stuff and a whole lotta iphone application talk. (lame)
Finally, the owner of the car came and ran to his vehicle, shocked and angry. We felt bad because the rent-a-cops clearly had not taken down a report or left a note to the owner indicating that they had done so. We didn't see "4-9's" for the remainder of our stay. The owner, clearly angry, was cursing on the phone and ranted that they had stolen his sound system. He eventually flagged down a driving by police officer and made a report. We observed as much as possible, but had to disperse because of the time.
I was glad that the thieves had not broken into either of our cars. I know now I need to be careful not to "show off" my system or leave my suction holder for my GPS on my window.
