Yesterday was Jared's 24th birthday. He is younger than all of us, yet more successful. He is a very adventurous chap, he loves hunting and sports and outdoor stuff. This is why Joel is such good friends with Jared, amongst other things. Jared has been in my life for a bout as long as I have known Amber, about 17 years or so. I went to school with him since 2nd grade. He has always been a good friend to me and to Joel. I wouldn't or couldn't ask for a more loyal friend.
For his birthday, Jared, went deep sea fishing with some fellas, including Joel. At first, we though Joel wouldn't have been able to attend, but Shannon (Jared's "friend") graciously gave up her ticket for Joel. Joel was very excited about the whole trip. Joel, like Jared, loves outdoor stuff. He caught 3 fishes and couldn't have been more prouder. He cooked one with Jared last night, and is saving the rest for Leo and the rest to join them in their fruits of labor.
I hope Jared has an awesome 24th year of his life. He deserves it more than anyone I know. I hope all of his hunts and catches are bountiful and wish him the best of luck with finding the right person for his life. Whoever catches him, is going to be the luckiest person on earth.
