This last Thursday, Joel formally asked his good friend Robby Willkom to be one of his groomsmen in our wedding. Robby accepted gleefully with a hint of surprise.
Robby has been in our lives since Joel's first job as an EMT at ProTransport. Robby gave Joel the nickname "Baby Joel" due to the fact Joel was such a youngin', he wasn't old enough to drive the ambulance. Ever since, he has been like a brother and we love his family. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Julie, and they have Rylie (Robby + Julie = her name) and one on the way (Julie is 9 weeks along). Rob will be celebrating his big 3-0 this weekend. W.o.w.
That's one wedding party person down.

Thanks for the sympathy. It'll be a slow recovery for her, but I'm glad she's got time to heal and she's got great care.

I am glad she has great care. She is lucky to have such a great family.
Wedding plans, yes, they are slowly coming about. Fun, yes, well that is part of the feelings I am experiencing. Along with fear and worry that I might choose something that looks absolutely ridiculous. ;)
