My Valentines Day

Joel is going to be taking his physical on the 21st, we wanted to do a practice run for his running part of the test. He is suppose to run 220 yards under one minute. We drove to Penetencia Creek, early in the morning, and a school there has a track. He did a couple of warm up laps along with the other random people on the track with him.

One a side note...
For all those of you who didn't know, Joel was a track star in high school at Yerba Buena. He won lots of medals and placed very high in his meets. He also was in the varsity team, when he only was a freshman in high school. He has the perfect rabbit feet and all muscular legs. I always heard so much about his track days, I wish I was around to see him run.

...back to original story.
When he was done with his practice laps, he instructed me to start the timer when he got to the middle half of the track and stop at the opposite end. He got to the pole indicator and I started the timer, to see him run was a first for me. He got to the end indicator and I stopped the timer...it read...34 seconds! We both are satisfied with that (I was ecstatic for him) he is confident he will pass that test.

We ended up going to Costco to help Caleb pick up a mattress. Afterwards, we went to have lunch. We were suppose to meet and eat with Caleb and Julia at Fresh Choice, but he ended up choosing another location without telling us. Amber, Joel and I ended up going and eating at Pho.

Joel and I went shopping at McCarthy and came home. I felt like making Red Velvet cupcakes and Amber came over to help me make them. We also had a great dinner which Joel made, steak and a baked potato. We watched Lakeview Terrace, which was a very frustrating movie to watch.

Now I am watching SNL with Joel...
