Well I am here in Santa Cruz watching Katie. Katie is a black lab/border collie. She is such a great dog! I am going to be here until this weekend and I will be relieved of my duty when her mama comes back from a 2.5 week trip to Italy.
This morning, on our walk, Katie and I discovered a bouncy ball that has a squeaker toy in it. She absolutely LOVES it. She is constantly chewing on it. I don't know if her mama is going to appreciate the noise making, but it makes Katie really happy. I'm going to miss her company.
Joel is here tonight (I think he misses my company at home) and decided to surprise me with groceries(including steaks). I am glad he is here because there is no food here and I would be forced to eat snacks.
Sasha, Katie's mom, sent me a post card in her mail today. I felt special that she spent money on postage and was thinking of me.
Off to make some dinner for Joel and I...CHOW!!!!
