Yesterday, my baby nephew, Marcus, came home. We celebrated at the Burke's home (and now Jorel and Kayci's too) and our family got together and we BBQ'd. I think BBQ is definite way our family to celebrate, which is always fine by me because I like to eat it.
Marcus is growing quickly, he is almost 5 whole pounds which is great. He is too long for preemie clothing, but to small for newborn sizes. I of course, bought him two new cute outfits, very boyish ones. I love shopping for baby/kid clothing. I got to hold him for the very first time last night which made my week. =) He is so tiny!!! I got to meet John's (Tonya's husband) daughter, Sam. She is from England (I think) and she goes home on Saturday. She said whenever we are in her town to look her up.
I am thrilled Marcus is home and I got to meet Sam. When the BBQ was over, Joel and I drove Jorel to his apartment and helped fill up some holes in the walls in his home and empty the items he had left over in his truck. Jorel and Kayci are moving or have moved into her parent's home. Which is the best move for them right now, one because they are closer to me and they get to move out of their ghetto hood and they now get to save some monies and pay bills.
